Lisa Jo White grew up in the Arabian industry showing as a youth, amateur rider and then professional.After graduating from Michigan State University with a degree in communication Lisa worked for a TV station in Wisconsin as a reporter and television news anchor. In 2009 after Lisa’s husband John passed away she continued to operate John White Stables in Woodstock, Illinois.Their two sons, Zach and Rex have had great success themselves in the showring and are now working for the family business.

Through Lisa’s youth and amateur career she won number National Championships that have now continued into the open divisions. John White Stables take great pride in the horse they turn out and their success with their amateur riders.

Besides running the training barn, Lisa enjoys her time judging. In her judging career she has been fortunate to have judged at Arabian, Saddlebred and Morgan open based shows with a wide range disciplines at the events. She has also had the privilege to judge both the US and Canada Nationals Shows, Scottsdale several times along with many Regional Championship Shows.
